I go chasing after her.

There she is, in the dog’s bed.
“Why are you stealing the dog’s bed, little one?”
I try to pick her up, but she bites me.
“I’m not a toy kitty!”
I stop.
I think.
I go to the fridge and get a piece of chicken.
“Meat, meat, Charlotte”
Charlotte comes running in and eats the chicken.

He does a lot of super fun tricks.
I taught him most of what he knows.
He loves to lick all of my family's toes.
You can tell when he gets confused.
When his head tilts to the side,
He also might wink one eye.

Oh Rocky! I love you so much!
You lick yourself clean with your tongue, you don't need to be told twice to clean up the mess which is in that closet where privacy beholds. But the number one reason I love you is because of wonderful things we have shared and will! You think Rocky's just a cat? No! He's much much more! The first time we met I was scared from head to toe but you just brushed my hand with your gentle whiskers. Rocky you're my best friend forever!

My beauty, my life, my treasure, my Kelsey. I love her every day. She lights up our house with her million dollar smile. Her smile is like the brightest star in the sky. When I am feeling sad, she comes to me and makes me smile. She loves everyone she meets. She is always so happy and overjoyed. When I am scared she comes to me and licks me. When I am stressed she comes to me and nudges me until I play with her. Kelsey is a special dog she really stands out. I like that about her. That is why I would not trade her for anything else in the world.

My Cat Miss


My words are going to tell about my pet cat.
She is tiger striped, lovable, and fat.

Her name is Miss.
Every day I greet her with a hug and kiss.

In the dark her eyes glow with green.
Once a day she licks herself clean.

Every time I pet her fur
Miss lets out a great big purrrrrrr!

She has been in our family for 16 long years
and to this day will not let us touch her ears.

We don't know how
such a little mouth can let out a big meow.

Every moment, I cherish my time with my dog

That gleaming sneer upon his face
follows me all over the place.
I turn around and there he sits
waiting for me to offer him Cheez-its.
Black and white like an Oreo cookie
the cute look of him makes me want to play hooky.
If only we could sit and stay,
I could look at his loving face all day.
Then, on walks, he pulls me along,
I can’t tell if I’m on his leash, he’s so strong.
Now you know how sweet he is
and how much fun he has with his "sis."

"My Wish Come True"

Last year a dog was my big wish,
it was on my Christmas list.
Then one night on Santa's sleigh
a little dog jumped out to play.
A scream rang throughout the house,
I literally thought it was a mouse.
He was black and white
with a huge underbite.
As a pup he was so small,
but now he's physically fit and tall.
He ran a race and beat them all,
he plays fetch with stick or ball.
I love him more every day
no matter what others say,
I love my Boston Terrier,
there's never been a dog merrier.

My Awsome Dog Kenya

I love my dog Kenya or she can be called Meni. She cost a pretty penny. She is cozy and rosy and don't forget she is nosy. She likes to put her nose wherever it goes. She has a diamond collar which we call bling bling. When she goes to bed she covers her nose with her toes. Her head is so soft and her body so rough. Her ears are so big I think she needs a wig. She has a short stumpy tail and you should see her nails. She likes to play everyday. I love her so so much. When she plays with me she always makes me run and it sure is a lot of fun! She is a fawn color and everyone thinks she is a Weimaraner. You could say Weimi. By the way Kenya has a big heiny. She has a big snout it is really immense. I love her also because she has great listening skills. She is well behaved, Kenya barely barks and she rarely narks. Kenya is such a good dog. I love my dog Kenya so, so, so, much. I wake up, her fluffy snout in my face, get me out of this place. She wants to play in the snow. Two scoops of food and some water, let's go.

My Dog

I would like to have a dog because I would like to take care of him. To me, dogs are special in their own way.

I would like to have a dog to play with so I won't be bored. Going outside, walking to the park are just some of the things we can do.

His color would be black, because that is my favorite color. I would pet him, and feed him when we eat breakfast and dinner too.

Also important for my dog, is making sure his teeth are brushed and that his hair stays combed. And I would call him Blackey because it sounds like a dog's name!

Toby is a great dog.

Whenever a friend comes, he'll wag his tail,
but he's too wild to walk to get the mail.

My family and I will play in the snow,
and a snow ball at Toby we'll try to throw.
(but mine usually misses with a buzz)
As soon as we throw he'll run away,
but I hope he knows that we are just trying to play.
(and he usually does)
He is a lab-boxer-pointer mix.
(I hope remembering that won't put you in a fix
or a fuss.)
Toby is black and white
and about my knees' height,
but too big for a suit.
If he gets lost,
the tags on his collar will bring him to us,
with the rest of his loot.
Every Saturday I'll give him a treat.
I'll make him shake and make him look neat.
And next I'll play hide and seek.
When it's Toby's birthday we'll give him a bone,
And maybe even a dog comb,
as long as he doesn't peek.
Sometimes we'll play outside
and then try to chase his hide.
(As long as you don't step in some poo!)
Toby is a great dog,
and if you're looking for him he'll probably be on the couch acting like a log
but now you know what he'll do.

Butternut and Lulu do not seem alike.

But when you live with both of them,

you'll see that's not right.

Lulu, my dog, has large, liquid eyes.

Butternut, the hamster's, are as tiny as fly's.

But both sets of eyes, one big and one small,

follow the path of my feet down the hall,

as I carry two bowls, one mini, one max,

filled with carrots and kibble and all kinds of snacks.

The squeak of the wheel fills my room dusk to dawn

as Butternut runs, going nowhere head-on.

Meanwhile downstairs Lulu, curled in a pouch,

atop Daddy's legs, she's the queen of the couch.

Although they are different in all of these ways,

I still love them both and that's the way they should stay.
